The 2000 Census data shows a total of 2,983 persons who <br />are non-white. This is 10.5 percent of the Census population base in Roseville of 33,690 <br />persons. The two largest minority groups are "Asian American" totaling 1,646 (4.9 percent <br />of population) and "African American" at 945 (2.8 percent of the total). Hispanic is not a <br />race category as such since they can crossover several race categories.
