.a
,.

r .
you don't let the retirees come around, how wo) you get firefighters to stay
if they are not welcome when they put their - ime in? How do these men
become close if their families are not Qllowec: My family spent many nights
at the fire station when my father was on wa-o :h. We would bring supper and
our homework so we could spend time togeth,•. Other times we would just
hang out with other families. For New Years `:ve we would go skiing with
another family, sometimes we would go to ther cabin, and other times we
got together for dinner. How could we have Jtten to do any of that if we
couldn't socialize with other families?
I hope that this letter gives you a little insight from someone who is
very saddened by your choices. I feel for a6 the Roseville firefighters and
their families. The nation is going though some troubling times. ,Now is not
the time to break apart a bond these men need. They need to spend time
together, and go back to aace where they ave their blood, sweat and
tears. You don't have the right to tell these ;,;en they can't return to a place
they spent many nights at so that a truck co go out, and turn around in
the moming and go to work. The fire station stands as a place of trust,
heroism and strength. I drse by a fire station every day to and from work
and i feel so proud to see the building and th trucks. I also feel sad and
tears will swell in my eyes when I think about the families who are without
their fathers because they are serving the c::munity. I really feel
saddened when I think of these men who put themselves in darer and some
will not return. Fathers, Husbands, Sons, HeeS. Gods Blessings.
Sincerely,
,,,hPr'tt Son
 J _..
 _,_....
! __.
Brian Kapaun
1934 Helena Rd N
Oakdale, MN 55128
