The services of the HRC in 2001
assisted more than 268 residential property owners which resulted in at least $600,000
in additional private investment in Roseville homes throughout the community. Many
of these loan dollars were leveraged with other bank or owner funding.
In its first full year (2001) of operation, the HRC provided free technical construction
advice to homeowners as well as financial administration equivalent to having two
additional Community Development staff inembers.
Fifty percent ($35,000) of the annual City cost of the HRC is funded from the Roseville
Housing Fund. For the other fifty percent, the City contracts for the HRC services as a
member of the I-35W Corridor Coalition, which is supported by Ramsey County and
other foundation funding. In addition, the HRC staff has submitted grant requests on
behalf of the Coalition Communities, which has resulted in over $100,000 in direct State
cash rebates to Roseville residents during 2001-2002.
2660 Civic Center Drive
Roseville, MN 55113
Phone: 651-490-2279 .
