City of Roseville Community Development Staff — Dennis <br />Welsch, Cathy Bennett <br />II. Summary of 2001 Housing Activities & Objectives for 2002 <br />a. City of Roseville, Cathy Bennett - A summary of the housing <br />activities in 2001 and objectives for 2002 as part of the <br />Housing improvement Plan will be provided. <br />III. Presentation by Roseville Housing Partners <br />a. Greater Metropolitan Housing Corporation (G MHC), Carolyn <br />�IS011 — The GMHC is a non-profit housing group that provides <br />housing services to communities through their Housing Resource <br />Centers. Roseville contracts with GMHC to provide free technical <br />housing service to Roseville residents and manage Roseville low <br />interest loan program. Carolyn will provide a summary of the HRC <br />program and services and discuss new initiatives and partnerships <br />expected for 2002. <br />b. Ramsey County, Commissioner Jan Wiessner — Ramsey <br />County provides several housing programs focused primarily on �oW- <br />moderate income suburban Ramsey County residents with Community <br />Development Block Grant and Home Investment Partnership Act <br />Funds. Commission Wessner will provide a summary of the deferred <br />loan programs available to Roseville residents, First Time Homebuyer <br />Programs, Housing Endowment Funds and the County's 2002 Housing <br />Priorities. <br />c. Metropolitan Council, CeCile Bedor — The City of Roseville <br />entered into a Cooperative Agreement with the Metropolitan Council in <br />2001 which provided support for the Family Housing Program and <br />purchase of 15 residential properties in the community for this <br />program. Cecile Bedor will provide a summary of how the program is <br />being implemented Metro wide and the status in Roseville. <br />
