The following list (in no order of significance) may be applicable with efforts to <br />construct new facilities, including the underlying sources of funding that were discussed above. <br />The following goals and objectives were established through the community-based Vista 2000 <br />Process: <br />❑ Economic Development — strengthen the business community, while <br />dependency on retail development. <br />❑ Economic Development — retain e�sting businesses, and attract new ones <br />❑ Leisure Opportunities — to construct a Roseville Community Center. <br />o Leisure Opportunities — continuing to provide facilities that meet <br />expectations of the entire community. <br />decreasing the <br />the needs and <br />❑ Leisure Opportunities — to cooperate with other agencies and governmental units to <br />maximize leisure facilities and activities. <br />The following polices and guidelines were adopted over the past several years: <br />o Community Participation & Consultation Policy — The Council will appoint <br />commissions, task forces, and other work groups from the community to explore and <br />present ideas and alternatives with regards to issues, which are of importance to the <br />c,ommunity. <br />
