CITY OF LAUDERDALE <br />ASSESSMENT POLICY MANUAL <br />Cul-de-sac Lots. For cul-de-sac lots, footage equals the lot width at the <br />building setback requirement line. <br />Curved Frontage Lots. For other lots with curved frontage, footage equals <br />the dimension of the side of the lot abutting the improvement. <br />Comer Lots. When improvements are made to both sides of a corner lot, <br />in the case of a street improvement project which abuts both sides of a <br />corner lot, 100 percent (100%) of the adjusted front footage of the short <br />side will be assessed and 25 percent (25%) of the adjusted front footage <br />of the long side will be assessed for improvement benefiting the respective <br />sides. <br />The length of the property sides and not the orientation of the principal <br />building shall determine the adjusted front footage in this case. The short <br />property side shall be considered the principal side. <br />
