Contained witl�in the standard language in these agreements, is the requirement that the <br />City formally approve any requested change to the site or equipmentbeing used. <br />Pursuant to FCC requirements pertaini � to the upgrade of its 911 capabilities, Voice Stream Wireless has <br />requested approval to add additional equipment at both the Fairview Avenue Water Tower Site, and Alta <br />Vista Drive Site. The equipment will consist of one to two sma11 antennas (not to exceed 8" in height), one <br />sma11 GPS antenna, and associated cable. The total additional base space is 2-4 square inches. <br />The amendment does not require any planning or zoning review, nor does it present any additional <br />concems for the integrity of the towers, or in a� ability to maintain a clear path to any city equipment. <br />The amendment does not alter the original terms of the lease. <br />A copy of the Amendment to the Lease Agreement is attached. <br />Staff Recommendation <br />�taf�' recommends that the City Council approve the Amendment to the Antenna Lease Agreements with Voice <br />Stream Wireless. <br />Council Action Requested <br />Motion to approve the Amendment to the Antenna Lease Agreements with V oice Stream Wireless as submitted. <br />
