Work Experience: <br />I was employed for 40 years with the Department of Transformation. While <br />working for the State, l was working in the area of Traffic Engineering. I <br />am currently retired from the State of Minnesota and working on a part time <br />basis with Peoples Electric Company of St. Paul as a Project Manager. <br />Education: <br />Graduated Fi�n Murray High School in St. Paul in 1957. While working for <br />the Department , I earned numerous credits in the field of Civil Engineering. <br />Civic and Volunteer Activities: (Past and Present) <br />Past: <br />I was a Hockey Coach for Squirts in the Roseville Park and Recreation <br />programs. <br />I also served as a Liaison Fi�n the Planning Commission to the Roseville <br />Infrastructure Committee. <br />Presently: <br />I have been serving on the Roseville Planning Commission since 1995. <br />Reasons for wanting to serve on the Commission: <br />I would like to continue to serve on the Planning Commission. I feel that <br />my past several years of serving on the Commission has contributed to the <br />growth of the city of Roseville. I want to continue to see Roseville grow as <br />a city that is a leader in the metro area. By serving on the Commission, I <br />have gained knowledge in Land Use, Codes, sign ordinances, and other <br />items that come before the Planning Commission. By continuing to serve <br />on the Commission, I feel that the city would benefit by this knowledge in <br />the future. <br />I feel that with me background in Traffic Engineering with the State of <br />Minnesota has been a asset to the Planning Commission. <br />What is your view of the role of this Commission? <br />The Commission's role is to advise the City Council on land use items such <br />as amendments to the city comprehensive plan, rezoning requests, <br />conditional use permits, variance requests and subdivisions. The <br />Commission is responsible for holding nearly all land use public hearings. <br />
