106.05 Finance. The Finance Department Department shall be under the direction of the <br />City Mana�er and Finance Director and is responsible for bud�et. investment, accountin�, and <br />other financial services. The Finance Director sha11 serve as Treasurer for the City. in addition to <br />other assi�ned duties. <br />106.06 Fire. There is established a Fire De�artment consisting of a Fire Chief to be a�ointed <br />bv the City Mana�er and other subordinate officers and personnel as determined. The <br />Department sha11 be responsible for the provision of emer�y services includin��brevention <br />and su�ression of fires. the protection of life and property a�ainst fire. natural disasters. and <br />other events. The members of the Fire Department may or�anize themselves into a Firefi h� <br />Relief Association. <br />106.07 Parks and Recreation. The Department of Parks and Recreation shall be under the <br />direction of the City Mana�er and Parks and Recreation Director and is responsible for <br />mana�ement and operations of the City's park and recreation faclities and pro�rams. <br />106.08 �'�il�c�olice Department shall be under the direction of the Police Chief who shall <br />be res�onsible to and under the direct su�ervision of the Citp Manager. The Police De�artment <br />is responsible for the preservation of public peace and order_ the prevention and detection of <br />crime. the a�rehension of offenders. the protection of persons and property and the enforcement <br />of State laws and City ordinances, and the renderin� of emer�encv services. <br />106.09 Public Works. The Public Works Department sha11 be under the direction of the Citv <br />Mana�er and Public Works Director, and is responsible for the desi�n, construction and <br />maintenance of �ublic facilities_ the �rovision of utilit� services_ and o�eration and maintence of <br />citv vehicles. <br />SECTION 2. Effective Date.
