EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 19�` day of August, 2002, at 6:30 p.m. The following members were present: and the following were absent: Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. A RESOLUTION APPROVING A VARIANCE TO SECTION 1004.01A6 (MAXIMUM TOTAL SURFACE AREA) OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 592 SEXTANT AVENUE (PF 3418). WHEREAS, Mr. Tim Golie has requested a variance to Section 1004.O1A6 (Ma�mum Tota1 Surface Area) in order to construct an porch addition on to the e�sting home; and at as: WHEREAS, the Golie's properiy is located at 592 Sextant Avenue and legally described Lot 3, Block I, Tuerk s Outback, Roseville, MN, PID#122923230049 WHEREAS, Section 1004.O1A6 limits each residential lot in Roseville to a maximum impervious coverage of 30%; and WHEREAS, Tim Golie's parcel currently occupies more than 30% impervious area (structures and pavement surfaces); and WHEREAS, Tim Golie desires to construct certain home improvements including a porch addition to the existing home; and WHEREAS, said existing and new improvements exceed the maximum total surface area allowed by Section 1004.O1A6 by 622 square feet or 6%; and WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held the public hearing regarding the variance request by Tim Golie on August 7, 2002, and recommended (5-0) approval of the request, based on findings outlined in Section 5 and conditions of Section 6 of the project report dated August 7, 2002.
