EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 19�` day of August, 2002, at 6:30 p.m. <br />The following members were present: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A VARIANCE TO SECTION 1004.01A6 (MAXIMUM <br />TOTAL SURFACE AREA) OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE <br />FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 592 SEXTANT AVENUE (PF 3418). <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Tim Golie has requested a variance to Section 1004.O1A6 (Ma�mum <br />Tota1 Surface Area) in order to construct an porch addition on to the e�sting home; and <br />at as: <br />WHEREAS, the Golie's properiy is located at 592 Sextant Avenue and legally described <br />Lot 3, Block I, Tuerk s Outback, Roseville, MN, PID#122923230049 <br />WHEREAS, Section 1004.O1A6 limits each residential lot in Roseville to a maximum <br />impervious coverage of 30%; and <br />WHEREAS, Tim Golie's parcel currently occupies more than 30% impervious area <br />(structures and pavement surfaces); and <br />WHEREAS, Tim Golie desires to construct certain home improvements including a <br />porch addition to the existing home; and <br />WHEREAS, said existing and new improvements exceed the maximum total surface area <br />allowed by Section 1004.O1A6 by 622 square feet or 6%; and <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held the public hearing regarding the <br />variance request by Tim Golie on August 7, 2002, and recommended (5-0) approval of the <br />request, based on findings outlined in Section 5 and conditions of Section 6 of the project report <br />dated August 7, 2002. <br />
