Date: 08/19/02 <br />Department Approval: <br />�� <br />ITE1�I DESCRIPTION <br />REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION <br />1�Ianager Reviewed: <br />> � � �,,,. <br />Roseville Central Park Foundation One Day Gambling License <br />BACKGROUND <br />Item Number: VIII.F. <br />Agenda Section: <br />Consent <br />The Roseville Central Park Foundation has applied for an Exemption from Lawful Gambling <br />Licensing Requirements to conduct lawful gambling activities on October 4, 2002 at the <br />Roseville Skating Center Community Room located at 2661 Civic Center Drive. <br />The Minnesota Charitable Gambling Regulations a11ow any nonprofit organization, which <br />conducts lawful gambling for less than five (5) days per year, and total prizes do not exceed <br />$50,000.00 in value, to be exempt from the licensing requirements if the city approves. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED <br />Motion approving the Roseville Central Park Foundations request to conduct a ra.ffle on October <br />4, 2002, at the Roseville Skating Center located at 226 1 Civic Center Drive. <br />
