EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 19�' day of August, 2002, at 6:30 p.m. The following members were present: and the following were absent: Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. A RESOLUTION APPROVING A VARIANCE TO SECTION 1004.01A6 (MAXIMUM TOTAL SURFACE AREA) AND SECTION 1004.O2D4 (YARD REQUIREMENTS — SETSACKS) OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 716 COUNTY ROAD C(PF 3393). WHEREAS, the Viking Racing Pigeon Club has requested a variance to Section 1004.O1A6 (Maximum Total Surface Area) and to Section 1004.02D4 (Yard Requirements — Setbacks) of the Roseville City Code to allow newly installed site improvements (concrete driveway and sidewalks) and a shed to remain on the premises; and WHEREAS, the Viking Racing Pigeon Club property is located at 716 County Road C and legally described at as: NEEDS CORRECT LEGAL DESCRIPTION WHEREAS, Section 1004.O1A6 limits each residential lot in Roseville to a maximum impervious coverage of 30%; and WHEREAS, Section 1004.02D� requires a side yard setback on a corner lot adjacent a street to be a minimum distance of 30 feet; and WHEREAS, the Viking Racing Pigeon Club premises has existing improvements that exceed the ma�mum total surface area allowed by the City Code and said properiy has a shed that encroaches into the required corner side yard setback; and WHEREAS, the Viking Racing Pigeon Club desires to keep the site improvements as installed; and WHEREAS, said existing impervious area on the premises exceed the maximum total surface area allowed by Section 1004.O1A6 by 270 square feet or 2% and the existing shed encroached into the required setback (corner side yard) 23 feet 3 inches; and
