It is e�tremely important that hotel reservations be made as <br />soon as possible. The earlier your city returns registration forms and requests for hotel <br />accommodations, the more likely you will receive your first choice. You may register for the <br />conference and make hotel reservations online at www.nlc.or�. However, you must pay by <br />credit card when registering online. <br />NLC has special discounts for first time attendees and entire city councils that register. NLC <br />also encourages city officials to bring youth delegates (age 15- 18) to participate in the <br />Congress of Cities. <br />Conference Program Highlights <br />This conference offers six unique learning opportunities for city officials which include <br />general sessions and conference workshops, host city mobile workshops, leadership training <br />seminars, networking sessions, an exposition and special programs. The special programs <br />include sessions for newcomers to the Congress of Cities, programs for youth delegates, and <br />opportunities for city officials with sma11 communities and programs offered by NLC's six <br />constituency groups on key local issues. <br />Further information regarding League of Minnesota Cities receptions/events will be forwarded <br />to all registrants at a later date.
