City Council Minutes — 08/12/02 <br />Page 7 <br />Acting Mayor Kough opened the hearing for public <br />comment at 8:20 p.m. <br />A1 Sands, 2612 Aldine Street <br />Mr. Sands reiterated his request that the derrick type high <br />line posts, specifically the one at the Fairview <br />intersection with County Road C, be replaced with <br />concrete poles as part of the reconstruction project; even <br />if adding the cost over three years as a surcharge on the <br />Xcel Energy monthly billing. <br />No one else spoke for or against. <br />Acting Mayor Kough closed the public hearing at 8:23 <br />p.m. <br />City Project M-01-12 County Road C Streetscape - <br />Phase I <br />Public Works Director Schwartz reviewed the various <br />project components for Phase I of the County Road C <br />Streetscape Project, with recent refinements following <br />input from the Task Force, Councilmembers and the <br />public in recognizing County Road C as the City of <br />Roseville's "Main Street." Mr. Schwartz stated that, <br />with the modified level of design, total project costs were <br />estimated at $766,000. Mr. Schwartz reviewed funding <br />sources. <br />Federal City Funding <br />Fundin <br />Construction Costs $126,000 <br />Indirect Costs 138,000 <br />Fundin Totals $264 000 <br />Design components included landscape plantings as <br />compared to the framework plan; trail impacts; lighting; <br />benches, colored concrete; and irrigation. <br />Discussion items included pursuit of an "Adopt-a-Tree" <br />Resoluiton 10018 <br />Public Hearing <br />County Rod C <br />Streetscape <br />Project — Phase I <br />
