5.0 PLANNING COIIISSION RECOIIENDATION
On October 2, 2002, the Planning Commission reviewed the annual IUP report
on the Agness/Schorn case and recommended 3-2 as follows:
The City has received three types of comments from neighbors: 1) Fix the damaged fence
and 2) maintain the front, side, and back yard, 3) no change in comprehensive plan or
zoning should be approved. No comments or reports hae been submitted by police, tire,
or building inspection. The Commission expressed concern that Agness/Schorn did not
spend more time to resolve the "snow plow damaged fence" issue as a private issue
between property owners.
aetr Duncan moved, seconded by Member Pepper to recommend approval
to the City Council (regarding conformance with the conditions of the IUP and
continuance of the Agness/Schorn Interim Use Permit), but also that the City not offer the
Borders and Buffers program as a fence solution.
Ayes: 3.
