September 30, 2002 <br />City of Roseville <br />2660 Civic Center Drive <br />Roseville, M N 55113 <br />ATT: Thomas Paschke, City Planner <br />Dear Sir: <br />This is in regard to Mike Strub's request for a 25' variance to allow <br />construction of a detached accessory building which will be <br />considered at the Planning Commission Meeting on Wednesday, <br />October 2, 2002. Our home is located just north of the Strubs at <br />1276 W. County Rd B. <br />Over 25 yrs. ago, we obtained a variance to construct our garage in <br />its present location. We request that you grant this variance for the <br />Strubs because of the much preferred location. It would be next to <br />our garage, hardly noticeable from our view and the Strubs would not <br />lose most of their backyard. Another situation which should not be <br />overlooked is the amount of water that collects in the Strub's back <br />yard after spring thawing and heavy rain.
