1 ` <br />Request for Council Action <br />Date: 1 1-18-02 <br />Item Number:XL A. <br />Department Approval 1�Tanager Approval Agenda Section <br />Consent <br />Item Description: Hold Harmless Agreement for Fire/Police Training <br />Back�round: The Roseville Fire Department does not own or operate a tire training center. Periodically, structures, <br />scheduled to be demolished, are offered to our fire and police departments for training. These structures are sometimes <br />owned by businesses that request a hold harmless for their corporation. <br />Policv Implications: The City of Roseville would execute a hold harmless agreement for the benefit of the Masterpiece <br />Homes Inc. located at 2245,2263, and 2275 County Road B West, in the city of Roseville. <br />Financial: There are minimal financial implications for the execution of this agreement. <br />Staff Recommendation: Staff recommendation is for council to approve the hold harmless agreement for the benefit of <br />the Masterpiece Homes Inc. <br />Council Action Re�uested: Motion to execute the hold harmless agreement with Masterpiece Homes Inc., located at 2245, <br />2263, 2275 County Road B West for the benefit of fire department and police department training. This training is <br />scheduled to include live burn training which will conclude with the fully burning of some of the properties. <br />
