Recognitions Recognitions <br />VL Hearings Hearings <br />As a representative from Xcel Energy was available at this <br />time, Council concurred with moving Item VIIL, A., to this <br />point in the Agenda. <br />A. County Road C Reconstruction, Phase I <br />Public Works Director Duane Schwartz presented an <br />overview of the proposed undergrounding and introduced <br />Ms. Collette Jurek of Xcel Energy. <br />1) Undergrounding Costs for Distribution Electric <br />Lines <br />Schroeder moved, Kough seconded, approval of the Xcel <br />Energy Project Scoping Estimate and authorized a City <br />Requested Facilities Surcharge for the undergrounding of <br />electrical distribution lines in the County Road C corridor. <br />Ms. Jurek described Xcel's analysis and result. <br />Councilmember Kough asked about hidden costs. <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn clarified that we are dealing only with <br />distribution lines on wooden poles with this motion, not <br />high power transmission lines on the steel towers. <br />Councilmember Schroeder asked if anyone other than <br />County Road C <br />Reconstruction, <br />Phase I <br />Undergrounding <br />Costs for <br />Distribution <br />Electric Lines <br />and <br />Lattice Tower <br />Transmission <br />Tower Modification <br />costs <br />
