REQUEST FOR CITY COUNCIL ACTION <br />Department Approval: <br />TP/DPW <br />DATE: 12/16/02 <br />ITEM NO: Xj, B. <br />Agenda Section: <br />CONSENT <br />Item Description: Request by Harold Van Sickle for consideration of a VARIANCE to <br />Section 1004.O1A6 and Section 1004.02D5 of the Roseville City Code <br />to allow construction of a home on the vacant lot addressed as 458 <br />South McCarrons Soulevard (PF3447). <br />1.0 REQUESTED ACTION: <br />l.l Harold and Anna Van Sickle have applied far multiple variances to the Roseville City <br />Code that would allow them to construct a home and attached garage on an odd shaped <br />vacant lot at the intersection of Woodruff Avenue and South McCarrons Boulevard. <br />PROJECT REVIEW HISTORY <br />. Application submitted & determined complete on November 5, 2002. <br />. 60-day review deadline on January 4, 2002• <br />. Staff Review & Recommendation: Approval w/conditions- December 4, 2002. <br />. Planning Commission: Hearing & Approval Recommendation (6-O) w/Conditions, <br />December 4, 2002. <br />. City Council Action: Approval w/Conditions, December 16, 2002. <br />2.0 SU1�TI�TARY OF RECOI�TI�TENDATIONS: <br />2.1 The Community Development Staff recommends approval of a 52 square foot (<1%) <br />variance to Section 1004.01A6, a 26 foot variance to Section 1004.02D5 (front yard <br />setback) and a 26 foot variance to Section 1004.02D5 (rear yard setback) of the Roseville <br />City Code for Harold and Anna Van Sickle to allow construction of a principal structure <br />and attached garage on the vacant lot lying at the intersection (southeast) of Woodruff <br />Avenue and South McCarrons Boulevard, subject to conditions. <br />3.0 SUGGESTED ACTION: <br />3.1 Grant two resolutions of approval w/conditions (see Section 8 for more detail). <br />Project information and detailed recommendation on following pages. <br />PF3447 - RCA 121602 - Page 1 of 6 <br />
