EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />Pursuant to due ca11 and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, NTinnesota, was held on the 16�` day of December, 2002, at 6:30 <br />p.m. <br />The following members were present: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A 15% VARIANCE (1,541 SQUARE FEET) TO <br />SECTION 1004.01A6 OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED <br />AT 700 COUNTY ROAD S2 (PF 3443). <br />WHEREAS, Richard & Joan Prokop has requested a variance to Section 1004.O1A6 of <br />the Roseville City Code to allow the a larger attached garage (9 13 sq. ft.) and additional (148 sq. <br />ft.) driveway area on the on the premises; and <br />as: <br />WHEREAS, the Prokop parcel is located at 700 County Road B2 and legally described at <br />Lot 3, Block 1, Arbell; PID Number: 11-2923-41-0005. <br />WHEREAS, Section 1004.O1A6 limits a residential parcel in Roseville to a m�imum <br />impervious coverage of 30% or in the case of the applicant an allowance of 3,036 square feet; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Prokop parcel currently has an impervious coverage of 3,868 square feet <br />or an existing coverage of 38%; and <br />WHEREAS, the Prokop proposal seeks to replace the existing attached garage with a <br />larger more functional/useful attached garage and install additional driveway creating a total of <br />4,577 square feet of impervious area or a coverage of 45%; and <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held the public hearing regarding the <br />Prokop variance request to Section 1004.O1A6 of the Roseville City Code on December 4, 2002, <br />and recommended (4-2) approval of the request, based on findings outlined in Section 5 and <br />conditions of Section 6 of the project report dated December 4, 2002. <br />NOW TI�REFORE BE TT RESOLVED, by the Roseville City Council, to grant Richard <br />& 7oan Prokop an 1,541 square foot (15%) variance to Section 1004.O1A6 of the Roseville City <br />Code to a11ow the replacement of an attached garage and additional driveway at 700 County <br />Road B2, based on the findings in Section 5 and of the project report dated December 16, 2002 <br />and subject to the following conditions: <br />
