EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 16" day of December, 2002, at 6:30 <br />p. m. <br />The following members were present: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A 1 FOOT VARIANCE TO SECTION 1004.02D5 OF <br />THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT <br />700 COUNTY ROAD B2 (PF 3443). <br />WHEREAS, Richard & Joan Prokop has requested a variance to Section 1004.02D5 of <br />the Roseville City Code to a11ow a one foot encroachment into the required five foot side yard <br />setback; and <br />as: <br />WHEREAS, the Prokop parcel is located at 700 County Road B2 and legally described at <br />Lot 3, Block 1, Arbell; PID Number: 11-2923-41-0005 <br />WHEREAS, Section 1004.02D5 of the Roseville City Code requires a minimum side <br />yard setback of five feet; and <br />WHEREAS, the Prokop proposal seeks to encroach one foot into the required side yard <br />setback; and <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held the public hearing regarding the <br />Prokop variance request to Section 1004.O1D5 of the Roseville City Code on December 4, 2002, <br />and recommended (4-2) approval of the request, based on findings outlined in Section 5 and <br />conditions of Section 6 of the project report dated December 4, 2002. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville City Council, to grant Richard <br />& Joan Prokop a one foot variance to Section 1004.O1d5 of the Roseville City Code to allow an <br />attached garage four feet from a side yard properiy line for properiy at 700 County Road B2, <br />based on the findings in Section 5 and of the project report dated December 16, 2002 and subject <br />to the following conditions: <br />a. All existing and proposed building and site improvements sha11 not exceed 4,577 square <br />feet of impervious area. <br />
