EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br /> CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br /> Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 11 day of October 2010 at 6:00 p.m. <br /> The following members were present: Johnson; Ihlan; and Klausing; <br /> and Members Pust and Roe were absent: <br /> Council Member Klausing introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 10850 <br /> A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE EAGLECREST PLANNED <br /> UNIT DEVELOPMENT, 2925 -2945 LINCOLN DRIVE (PF10 -022) <br /> WHEREAS, two separate amendments to the EagleCrest Planned Unit Development were <br /> approved in 2009 for the purpose of installing telecommunication antennas and support equipment on <br /> the rooftop at 2925 Lincoln Drive; and <br /> WHEREAS, the property owner, EagleCrest Senior Housing, LLC has requested approval of a <br /> third amendment allowing additional telecommunication antennas and support equipment on the same <br /> rooftop; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Roseville is supportive of additional telecommunication installations in <br /> this location but wishes to address the previous and future installations in a single, more <br /> comprehensive amendment rather than in several individual amendments; and <br /> WHEREAS, the property is legally described as: <br /> Lot 2, Block 1, College Properties <br /> PID 04- 29 -23 -14 -0066 <br /> WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held the public hearing regarding the <br /> proposed Planned Unit Development amendment on September 29, 2010, voting 6 -1 to recommend <br /> approval of the amendment based on the comments and findings of the staff report prepared for said <br /> public hearing; <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Roseville City Council to approve the <br /> amendment to the EagleCrest Planned Unit Development, based on the information contained in the <br /> project report prepared for the City Council meeting on October 11, 2010 and the following conditions: <br /> a. Prior to installing any transmission equipment, all service providers shall submit <br /> documentation demonstrating that the telecommunication equipment will operate within <br /> the technical requirements of the Federal Communications Commission; <br /> b. External lights (i.e., those not integral to the equipment itself) shall not be installed on <br /> the outdoor equipment; <br /> c. All wiring serving the equipment shall be attached to roof and/or wall surfaces of the <br /> building and not aerially suspended; <br /> d. Flush- mounted telecommunication equipment consistent with what is permitted by the <br /> City Code on commercial properties may be allowed throughout the EagleCrest campus, <br /> Page 1 of 3 <br />
