<br />EXTH/\Cl Of MINlITES OF ;1EETING OF TIlE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />OF ROSEVILLE, J\n;~'NESOTA, HELD MARCH 8, 1971 <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting <br />of the Village Council of the Village of '?,oseville, ;rirmesota, <br />was duly called at the Village Hall, 2701 north Lexington Avenue, <br />at 7: 30 P .r.l., on \londay, r1arch 8, 1971. <br /> <br />The following members were Dresent: Mayor Moll, Cm..B1cilnen <br />Anderson, Linebarger, Curley and' Grauel <br /> <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />~ernber Anderson <br />moved its adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the follmving resolution and <br /> <br />HESOLlHrON NO. 5621 <br /> <br />\~lIEHEA.C;, the Ramsey County Plat COl'lJqission has in practise approved <br />splits of plats, transfers of deeds, and subdivisions of <br />property without the prior app'Toval of the ffirnicipalities in <br />which the platted land is located, ,md further, said Commission <br />has rejected plats tiat have been approved by the specific <br />municipality in which the platted land is located, thereby <br />preventing the recording of such plats with the Registrar of <br />!:Beds of Ramsey County; arld, <br /> <br />\vHETlliAS, said mentioned mrnicipalities are in the mam subst,mtial, <br />incorporated rmmicipalities in each of whidi reside 5,000 <br />persons or more, and having plmming agencies whose recommend- <br />ations for the future developnent of the comrmmity are recorded <br />in Conprehensi ve r 1unicipal Plans, ,'lhich may be coordinated ,vi th <br />regional plans through Regioaal Development Commissions pur- <br />SU3Jlt to r1. S. 462.39, Subd. 3 and H. S. 462.391, Sub. 1, and, <br /> <br />\V1IEHEAS, the practices of said RarfJsey COllilty Plat Commission arc <br />clone without sufficient reference to such Comprehensive <br />~Iunicipal Plans of the said mtlllicipali ties an~l in fact inter- <br />fere with and obstruct the policies, goals, standards, an ,1 <br />milps for guiding the socia.l and economic development of the <br />TIRlilicipality and its environs that are cJT1bodied in such <br />Corlprchensi ve :Iunicipal Plllils; and, <br />
