EXTPACT Of MINUTES OF MEETING OF TIlE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESarA, HELD M\Y 10, 1971 * * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to dw call and notice thereof, a regular reeting of the Village Cot.m.cil of Roseville, Mi.1mesota was duly called and held at the Village Hall in said Village on May 10, 1971, at 7: 30 P.M. The following rembers were present: Acting jl/Tayor Curley, Cot.m.cilren Anderson and Grauel and the following rrerrbers were absent: ~.tJ.yor Moll and Councilrran Linebarger. ivember Anderson then introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 5653 A RESOLUTION DETERMINING TO ACQUIRE BY EMINENT roM/UN PERMWENf AND TEMPORARY EASElvII1~TS ACROSS A.~D UNDER CERTAIN LANDS fUR l1-IE PURPOSE OF CONSTRUCTING, i'-lAINTAINING AND OPERATING MUNICIPAL SANITARY SEl\1ER, MUNICIPAL WATER, MUNICIPAL STORM SEWER AND PUBLIC ROADS IN AND FOR mE VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE, IvlINNESOTA, A.~D THAT THE NECESSARY PROCEEDINGS BE CO~'UvIENCED At'ID COMPLETED FOR SAID PURPOSE AS A PARr OF THE COMBINED IMPRJVEMEN'TS OF a~71, SERIES 1: WHEREAS, the Village Cot.m.cil of the Village of Roseville has been advised by competent engineers that it is feasible to construct underground sewer, water and stonn sewer lines, pipes and appurtenances and to construct and maintain public roads ivi thin that portion of the Village hereafter described as a part of Combined Improverents of 1971, Series 1, and WHEREAS, the Village Cot.m.cil deems it necessary and expedient and in the best interest of the Village and its inhabitants that the Village acquire permanent and temporary easements across and t.m.der certain lands for the above purpose; and h'HEP-EAS, the statutes of the State of Mirmesota state that the Village has the power and authority to take and acquire said property by condennation t.m.der the power of eminent domain;
