<br />After discussion of the views presented by persons appearing <br /> <br />at the pUblic hearing for Improvement ST-7l-20, Councilman <br /> <br />I.i~hA'r~l" <br /> <br />then introduced the following resolution <br /> <br />and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />Resolution No. 5674 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING THE CONSTRUCTION OF <br />IMPROVEMENT ST-7l-20 UNDER AND <br />PURSUANT TO MINNESOTA STATUTES, CHAPTER 429 <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Village of Roseville, <br />Minnesota, that in accordance with the provisions of Minnesota <br />Statutes 1961, Chapter 429, as amended, the Council held a <br />public hearing pursuant to publiShed notice, on the proposed <br />construction of Improvement ST-7l-20, consisting of providing <br />a storm sewer outlet for that portion of the Village of <br />Roseville lying west of Trunk Highway 280 and south of County <br />Road B by the construction of an estimated 3300 feet of 15 <br />foot diameter tunnel, 2800 feet of 10 foot diameter tunnel <br />and a deep vertical drop shaft structUre to be constructed by <br />the City of Saint Paul within the City of Saint Paul, as <br />described in the notice of hearing at a cost presently estimated <br />to be approximately $lO,400,and substantially in accordance <br />with the preliminary engineer's report as to the feasibility <br />thereof which is now on file in the office of the Village <br />Manager; and having considered the views of all interested <br />persons and being fully advised in the premises, the Council <br />does hereby determine and order that said improvement shall <br />be constructed and financed, and special assessments shall <br />be levied therefor, pursuant to said Chapter 429, and that <br />the area proposed to be assessed therefor shall include the <br />property as described in the notice of hearing; and that the <br />Village Public Works Director is hereby directed to prepare <br />and submit to the Council final plans and specifications for <br />the construction of said improvement. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution <br /> <br />was duly seconded by Councilman <br /> <br />Ande~on <br /> <br />, and upon <br /> <br />roll call vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br /> <br />thereof: <br /> <br />All present <br />and the following voted against: None <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
