I'm happy to provide the information you requested. 1n the final taxes bill enacted this session F3 729Ch. 3 9 three cities were granted the authority to impose new local lodging, food and beverage, and admissions taxes. The city of Biwabik is authorized, if approved by the city council and the Iron Range Resource and Rehabilitation Board 1 , to impose at the Giants Ridge Recreation Area a one percent food and beverage tax and a. lodging and entertainment/recreational admission to of up to five percent. The IRRRB by a vote of at least seven members shall spend the money for construction, improvement, and maintenance of public facilities located in the Giants Ridge Recreation area.
