<br />EXTRACf OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF TIfE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, HELD JULY 26, 1971 <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting <br />of the Village Council of Roseville, Minnesota, was dilly called <br />and held at the Village Hall in said Village on July 26, 1971. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mayor Moll, Councilmen <br />Anderson, Linebarger and Curley <br /> <br />and the following was absent: Councilman Grauel <br /> <br />Member Anderson introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLlITION NO. 5685 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Public Safety, Bureau of Criminal <br />Apprehension, is submitting an application for funding of a Metro- <br />politan Corrmunication Upgrading program; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the counties and municipalities using the metro <br />teletype circuits have requested the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension <br />to act as grantee for this program; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREroRE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Bureau of Criminal <br />Apprehension act as grantee for the Metropolitan Communications <br />Upgrading program, - and administer the funds in behalf of the metro <br />circuit users and for the 12 month duration of the grant: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED that the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, Depart- <br />ment of Public Safety, is hereby authorized and directed to execute <br />such an agreement as requested by the Govemor's Commission on Crime <br />Prevention and Control to implement said grant: <br /> <br />Be it further resolved that: ~'hen Federal support is no longer <br />available, we understand and accept the total cost of this upgraded <br />corrmunications system on a pro- rated basis, if we desire to stay on <br />this system. <br /> <br />Be it further resolved that we agree to pay not less than 25% of <br />the system, such actual cost to be based on total mileage pro-rated <br />premise charge, channel conditioning, and hardware installed in our <br />departmen t : <br />
