<br />, ( <br /> <br />Resolution No. ..21.- <br /> <br />Adopted December 1, 1953 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law, the <br />Council has made and held a hearing upon the proposed assessment for the <br />improvement of Roma Street between the West line of Dunlap Street and the <br />East line of Fernwood Street by the grading thereof, and <br /> <br />~mEREAS, no objections were made to the proposed assessment. <br /> <br /> <br />NOW, THERE}': RE, Be it resolved by the Village Council of Roseville, l1inre sota: <br /> <br />1. Such proposed assessrr.ent, a cupy of which is attached hereto <br />and made a part hereof, is hereby accepted and shall constitute the <br />special assessment against the lands named therein, and each tract of land <br />therein included is hereby found to be benefited by the proposed improvement <br />if the amount bf the assessment levied against it. <br /> <br />2. Such proposed assessment, shall be payable in equal annual install- <br />ments extending over a period of ten years, tpe first of the installments <br />to be payable en or before October IS, 19S5. Any deferred installments <br />shall bear interest at the rate of five (S%) percent per annum from the <br />date of the adoption of' this asse~'sment resolution. To the first <br />installment shall be added interest on the entire assessment form the <br />date of this resolution at the rate of five (5%) percent par annum. To <br />each subsequent installment when due shall be added interest for on year <br />on all unpaid installments. <br /> <br />3. The woner of any property so assessed may, 2t any time prior to <br />certification of the assessment to the County Auditor as herein provided, <br />pay the whole of the assessment against any parcel with interest accrued <br />to the date of payment to the Village freasurer and immediately, at any <br />time thereafter, pay to the County Treasurer the entire amount of the <br />assessment remaining unpaid with interest accrued to December 31, of the <br />year in which such payment is made. <br /> <br />4. The Clerk shall forthwith transmit a cerified duplicate of this <br />assessment to the County Auditor to be extended on the proper tax lists <br />of the County, and such assessments shall be collected and paid over in <br />the same manner as other municipal taxes, <br /> <br />Ma;wor <br /> <br />Attest: <br /> <br />Clerk <br />
