<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCn. <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City ofRoseville, Minnesota, <br />was held in the City Hall in said City on Monday, April 11, 1994, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Wi ski, Goedke, P. Johnson, Mastel, and V. Johnson, and the following <br />members were absent: None. <br /> <br />Councilmember P. Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9071 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING THE CONSTRUCTION OF <br />IMPROVEMENT P-SS-W-ST-94-06, ARTHUR STREET EXTENSION NORTH OF COUNTY ROAD C <br />AND PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on March 28, 1994, to consider the construction of Arthur Street extension <br />north of County Road C, City Project P-SS-W-ST-94-06; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, required mailed and published notices were given; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council directed staff to provide more information to the property owners; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council continued the public hearing until April 11, 1994; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, that in accordance <br />with the provisions of Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, as amended, the Council continued the public hearing <br />on March 28, 1994, to April 11, 1994, to consider the proposed construction of City Improvement P-SS-W-ST- <br />94-06 consisting of the construction of Arthur Street extension north of County Road C as described in the Notice <br />of Hearing at a cost presently estimated at $379,030 with costs being assessed against benefiting property owners <br />and substantially in accordance with the preliminary report as to the feasibility thereof which is now on file in the <br />office of the City Manager; at which all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard <br />thereon, and having considered the views of all interested persons, the Council does hereby determine and order <br />that said improvement shall be constructed and financed. <br /> <br />The consulting firm ofBRW, Inc. is designated as the Engineer for the project and is requested to prepare and <br />submit to the Council the final plans and specifications for the improvement. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Mastel and upon <br />roll call vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Wiski, Goedeke, P. J ohoson, Mastel, and <br />V. Johnson and the following voted against the same: None <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
