The Most TmPortant Article In The <br />Universal Declaration of Rights <br />The most important article in the Universal Declaration of <br />Human Rights, I feel, is Article Twenty -one. The reason I chose this <br />is because without his we would not be a democracy. We have freedom <br />to vote for who we wart to lead our country. our country is governed <br />by men and women that the American peop :e want. We may vote for <br />people who have similar beliefs, values, and moral ethics. This <br />voting system allows our country, America, t o be run the way the <br />majority of the American public wants. <br />This definitely effects me and mfr family very much. My parents <br />may take part in our governmnet by learning all they can about <br />candidates running for office and then voting for whom they feel <br />will do the best job'. y parents and 1 can take advantage of this <br />by speaking freely of whom we want to run our country. When 1 am <br />18 years old, I will he ale to vote also. This right to vote is <br />very important to my future and to all the children of our country <br />who will one day be the adults leadinq or voting for the leaders <br />of the United States of America! <br />Article Twenty-One also directly effects the daily living of <br />myself, my family, and the community I live in. We are able t play <br />a lar role in electing people to rug, our gove ent who in turn <br />make laws and policies that directly touch all our daily lures. <br />The laws of our state say we may not speed, steal. ki 11 d i s urh the <br />peace, take illegal lru s drink and drive, and many others.
