Of course <br />the most recognizable discrimination shown in politics is that there has yet to be a female, president of the <br />United States of America. Some might say that the argument for this would be that only two women <br />have ever run for President of the United States of America. Jf only two women have ever had enough <br />courage to endeavor to take the occupation of this highly exceptional job, that means men ire just <br />running the female society farther and farther away from success, women only hold twenty percent of <br />the Senate seats, eighteen percent- of seats M the house and twenty three percent of state level offices. if <br />women could be more involved in politics they would, yet we are still resented those opportunities and <br />resented to be treated as Human Right Article 21 states. <br />"You have the right to work, to -be free to choose your work, to get a salary which <br />allows you to support your family. If a man and a woman do the same work, they should get <br />the same pay." - man Right Article 23. <br />There are numerous ways that females are disefinfinated against financially. only sixteen percent <br />of US companies have paid maternity leave for women, the United States is the only developed country <br />where paid maternity leave is not enforced by law. Out of the 500 CE "s on CEO's of Fortune 500 <br />companies list, only four percent are women. women could not even obtain credit cards in their own <br />name until 1974 when the Equal credit opportunity Act was passed, years after, the Universal <br />Declaration. of Human bights was declared by the United Nations. 'These discriminatory actions clearly <br />show how humanity stereotypes women as not being responsible and not being as capable of leadership <br />as men.
