<br />Extract uf Minutes of Meeting of ~he <br />Village Council <br />Village of Roseville <br />County of Ramsey <br /> <br />Pursuant to due ca~l and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village <br />Council of the Vi 11 age of Rosevi 11 e, Ramsey County, ~.1i nnesota, was duly held <br />in the Village Hall at 2701 North Lexington Avenue, Roseville, ~,1innesota, on <br />t1onday, the Thirteenth day of September, 1971, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mayor Moll, Councibnen Curley, Grauel, <br />Linebarger anu AnUer~on <br /> <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />~.1ember <br /> <br />Curley <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved <br /> <br />its adoption: <br /> <br />Resolution No. 5729 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RELATING TO REQUESTING THE <br />[vlINNESOTA HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT TO REVIE1~ SPEED LH1ITS ON <br />WEST COUNTY ROAD B-2 FROM SNELLING TO FAIRVIEW AVENUES <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Roseville, as <br />follows: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the existing speed limit on West County Road B-2 from Snelling <br /> <br />Avenue to Fairview Avenue is posted at 40 miles per hour, as determined by <br /> <br />the Minnesota Highway Department study in May of 1970; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the traffic on this roadway has increased since the last study; <br /> <br />and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, development of this area has been increased in this area. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the Village Council of the Village of Roseville does <br />hereby request the Minnesota Highway Department to review said speed limit and <br />make recommendations accordingly. <br />
