ADVERTISEMENT FOR REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL Notice Is hereby given that sealed REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR Janitorial Services will be received by the City Manager of the City of Roseville, 2660 Civic Center Drive, Roseville, Minnesota, 55113, in City Hall until: 2:00 p.m. CDT January 27, 2011 At which time the proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud for janitorial services for approximately 70,000 square feet in six City buildings for a three -year period. The Request for Proposals describes the services involved and the process for selecting the firm to be awarded the contract. Bidders shall be responsible for the complete cleaning of all buildings listed and as such shall properly inform themselves of areas to be cleaned, size of buildings, existing conditions, etc. A pre -bid walk through meeting will be held on January 6, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. beginning at Roseville City Hall, 2660 Civic Center Dr. Participation in the walk through is a condition precedent to submission of a proposal. Questions regarding the proposal may be directed to Pat Dolan, 651- 792 -7054. Failure to familiarize themselves with the buildings and conditions will not relieve the bidder of their responsibilities under any contract. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a bidder's bond, certified check. or cash deposit in an amount equal to at least five percent (5 of the amount of the bid, which shall be forfeited to the City in the event the successful bidder fails to enter into a contract with the city. Copies of the REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL may be obtained from the office of the City Manager, City of Roseville, 2660 Civic Center Drive, Roseville, Minnesota, 55113, together with the approved form for submitting bids. The City Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive irregularities and informalities thereon, and further reserves the right to award the contract in the best interest of the City of Roseville.
