The following members \-Jere present: Mayor ~1oll, Councilmen Curley, Grauel, Anderson and Linebarger and the following ,,,ere absent: None Member Curley and moved its adoptio,'1. introduced the follo\ring resolution RESOLUTION NO. 5766 RESOLUTION REQUESTING TI-JE i'HNNESOTA STATE HIGHWAY DEPARTI1E:t\1T TO CONSIDER THE ULTI!\1ATE DEVELOPMENT SOLUTIOl'-I FOR TItE INTERSECTION OF COUNTY rUA.T) B AND S.NELLING AVENUE BE IT HE SOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Roseville, r.1innesota, as follows: h1I-IEREAS, the Village of Roseville has \^lorked closely with the Highway ~partment over the past ten years with respect to the design of major high\vays and freeways in the Village of Roseville; and l\IHEP..F..AS, the Village has in particular worked closely with the Department in evolvi..'1g alternate plans for the inter- section of Comty Hoad B and Snelling Avenue in the Village; and VJHEPBAS; total agreement has not been reached between the Highway fupartment and the Village in the past and WHEREAS, t.1}e traffic conditions at this intersection are approaching or beyond saturation and h1-IEPEA..S, development of the affected properties in the immediate qL~drants of the Litersection are likely to be developed in the near future; NOW, TEEREFClRE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Village Cmmcil of the Village of Roseville respectfully requests tha.t the i'1innesota
