<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br />County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 23rd day of May, 1994 at 5:30 P.M. <br /> <br />The following members were present: P. Johnson, Wiski, Mastel, Goedeke and V. Johnson <br />and the following were absent: None. <br /> <br />Member Mastel introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9078 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING VACATION OF THOSE PORTIONS OF <br />EXISTING UTILITY AND DRAINAGE EASEMENTS IN THE AREA <br />OF 2249 FERRIS LANE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing to determine whether or not said portions of <br />utility and drainage easements in the City ofRoseville should be vacated; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, because the portion of utility and drainage easements in the area of2249 Ferris Lane <br />are not necessary for public purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it would be beneficial to the public interest to vacate said utility and drainage easements <br />as described in Attachment" A". <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Roseville hereby <br />vacates a portion of public utility and drainage easements over the property described in Attachment <br />"All, except easements for public or private utilities, including but not limited to water lines, sewer <br />mains, telephone lines and poles, gas and electric lines and cable TV lines, including the right to <br />maintain the same or to enter upon such land or portion thereof vacated, to maintain, repair, replace, <br />remove or otherwise attend thereto, existing on the date of this vacation, shall be preserved and <br />maintained by said utility holder pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 160.29. <br /> <br />The motion tor the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member P. Johnson, <br />and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following vote in favor thereof: P. Johnson, Wiski, Mastel, <br />Goedeke, and V. Johnson and the following voted against the same: None. <br /> <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
