<br />WHEREAS, the Village Council has been advised by <br />competent advisors and committees that the following described <br />real property is desirable to acquire as a park; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Village has been unable to negotiate for <br />the purpose of purchasing said land; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, under the statutes of the State of Minnesota <br />the Village has the power to take and acquire such property <br />by power of eminent domain; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />OF THE VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />The Village Council hereby deems it necessary and <br />convenient that the property described below be acquired by <br />the Village of Roseville for the Roseville Park, all of said <br />property being situated in the Village of Roseville, County <br />of Ramsey and State of Minnesota, to-wit: l <:..;:.) <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the estate to be acquired <br />lS fee simple absolute. <br /> <br />That the Village Attorney be and he hereby is instructed <br />to institute the necessary proceedings in condemnation under <br />the power of eminent domain in the name and in behalf of the <br />Village of Roseville, Minnesota, to acquire the property <br />hereinabove described under the statutes of the State of <br />Minnesota, and the said Village Attorney is further instructed <br />and directed to take such steps as may be necessary to carry <br />said proceedings to a conclusion. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the, foregoing <br />resolution was duly seconded by Member (,~. t' ,//,,' '- /~ <br /> <br />Page Two <br />
