EXTAACT OF MINIITES OF MEETING OF 1HE VILLAGE COUNCIL VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE, MINNEg)TA - HELD Decenber 27, 1971 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village COl.D1cil of the Village of Roseville, Ramsey County, Minnesota, was duly held in the Village Hall, 2701 North Lexington Avenue, on Monday, the 27th day of December, 1971, at 7:30 P.M. The following members were present: !-.Ia.yor Moll, CotmcilIren Curley, Anderson, Grauel, Linebarger and the following were absent: None Member Grauel introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO..21fi.2 WHEREAS, the Village Council on September 27, 1971, passed resolutions directing the County Auditor to levy taxes on real estate for 1972, adopting the official annual budget for 1972, and directing the County Auditor to reduce established levies for various bonded debts in 1972; and WHEREAS, in October 1971, the Legislature of the State of Minnesota, in special session, pased an orrnibus tax act, part of which placed a levy limitation on the property tax; and ~~lliREAS, the Village of Roseville is therefore required to re-adopt the above mentioned resolutions with appropriate changes; mw, THEREroRE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Village of Rosevil1e, Minnesota, that Resolutions Nos. 5742, 5743 and 5744 are he~eby recinded. The IOOtion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Anderson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: All present and the following voted against same: None WHEREUPON, said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
