<br />Extract of Minutes of Meeting of the <br />Vill age Counci 1 <br />Village of Roseville <br />County of Rams~y <br />State of Minnesota <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the <br />Village Council of the Village of Rosevi11e, Ramsey County, Minnesota, was <br />duly held in the Village Hall at 2701 North Lexington Avenue, Rosevil1e, <br />Minnesota, on Monday, the Twentieth day of March, 1972, at 7:30 0'c10ck P.M. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mayor Linebarger, <br />Councilmen Curley, Grauel, Anderson and Brennan. <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Member <br /> <br />(;r::l 11 P. 1 <br /> <br />None. <br />introduced the following resolution and <br /> <br />moved its adoption: <br /> <br />Resolution No. r;R77 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE IMPROVEMENTS OF <br />FAIRVIEW AVENUE AND CLEVELAND AVENUE <br />BY THE COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Fairview Avenue and Cleveland Avenue are on the County <br /> <br />State Aid Highway System (C.S.A.H.) and therefore, under the jurisdiction of <br />the Ramsey County Board of Commissioners; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the section of Fairview Avenue and Cleveland Avenue herein- <br /> <br />after described are important links in the C.S.A.H. System; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, these streets are in dire need of improvement in order to <br /> <br />safely handle the existing traffic and projected traffic; and <br />WHEREAS, the County of Ramsey's Long Range Street Improvement <br />Program had scheduled improvements on Fairview Avenue for 1970; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Roseville Village Council <br /> <br />urges the Ramsey County Board of Commissioners to take the necessa~y action <br />to proceed with the improvements of: <br />1. Fairview Avenue from County Road B-2 to County Road C-2, and <br />2. Cleveland Avenue from County Road C to Trunk Highway 36. <br />
