<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA, HELD <br /> <br />March 27, 1972 <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting <br />of the Village Council of the Village of Roseville, Minnesota, <br />was duly held at the Village Hall in said Village on Monday, <br />March 27, 1972, at 7:30 o'clock P.M. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mayor Linebarger, <br />Councilmen Curley, Grauel, Anderson and Brennan <br /> <br />and the following were absent: None. <br /> <br />Councilman Curley then introduced and moved the adoption of <br />the following resolution: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 5836 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Village of Roseville has been selected <br />for the National Junion Hockey tournament; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, teams from the states of Michigan, <br />Massachusetts, Indiana, California, New York, Illinois <br />and Washington will come to Roseville to compete; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the game of hockey proliferates the ideals <br />of wholesome activity and competitive sportmanship for <br />young men; <br /> <br />THEREFORE, I, A. Gale Linebarger, Mayor of the Village <br />of Roseville, Minnesota, do extend on behalf of all residents, <br />a warm hand of welcome to all visitors. <br /> <br />The motion was seconded by Councilman Grauel and upon vote <br />being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />all present <br /> <br />and the following voted against: none <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
