<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a meeting of the City Council of the City ofRoseville, County <br />of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 13thday of June, 1994 at 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Goedeke, Wish, Mastel, P. Johnson, and V. <br />Johnson, and the following were absent: None. <br /> <br />Member Goedekintroduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9087 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE EXTENSION OF A MORATORIUM ON <br />THE CONSIDERATION OF ALL APPLICATIONS FOR VARIANCES <br />TO THE SHORELAND MANAGEMENT REGULATIONS AND FOR <br />BUILDING PERMITS TO CONSTRUCT ANY STRUCTURE OR <br />DECK WITHIN 75 FEET OF THE NORMAL illGH WATER LINE <br />OF ANY PUBLIC WATER ON SHORELANDS AS DEFINED IN <br />ROSEVILLE CITY CODE, CHAPTER 18. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council, on November 8, 1993, held a public hearing to determine <br />whether or not to declare a moratorium on consideration of applications for variances to the City <br />shoreland management regulations and certain building permits; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council passed Ordinance No. 1129, an ordinance declaring a <br />moratorium on the consideration of all applications for variances to the shoreland management <br />regulations and for building permits to construct any structure or deck within 75 feet of the normal <br />high water line of any public water on shorelands as defined in Roseville City Code, Chapter 18; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 1129 allows the City Council to extend such moratorium until <br />December 1, 1994 if studies to review and amend its Comprehensive Plan and its shoreland <br />management regulations are not complete; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the study of City's comprehensive plan and shoreland management regulations <br />are not complete. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Roseville <br />hereby extends the moratorium On the consideration of all applications for variances to the shoreland <br />management regulations and for building permits to construct any structure or deck within 75 feet <br />of the normal high water line of any public water on shorelands as defined in Roseville City Code, <br />Chapter 18 until October 1, 1994 or until the adoption of revised shoreland management regulations. <br />
