WHEREAS, the Village has been unable to negotiate for the purpose of purchasing said land; and WHEREAS, under the statutes of the State of Minnesota the Village has the power to take and acquire such property by power of eminent domain; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, AS FOLLOWS: The Village Council hereby deems it necessary and convenient that the property described below be acquired by the Village of Roseville for the Roseville Park, all of said property being situated in the Village of Roseville, County of Ramsey and State of Minnesota, to-wit: One-half (1/2) of vacated alleys accruing, and Lots Eight (8) through Fifteen (15), Block Four (4), Rice Street Grandview Addition, according to the plat thereof on file and of record in the office of the Register of Deeds, in and for Ramsey County, Minnesota; and One-half (1/2) of vacated alleys accruing, and Lots Eight (8) through Thirteen (13), Block Five (5), and Lots Twenty-three (23) through Thirty (30), Block Five (5), all in Rice Street Grand View Addition, according to the plat thereof on file and of record in the office of the Register of Deeds, in and for Ramsey County, Minnesota; and Except the West Four (4) feet south of the extended North line of Lot Eighteen (18), the East One-half (E.l/2) of vacated alley adjacent to Lot Fifteen (15) and South One-half (S.1/2) of vacated alley adjacent and the following: Lots Fourteen (14) and Fifteen (15), BlOck Five (5), Rice Street Grand View Addition, according to the plat thereof on file and of record in the office of the Register of Deeds, in and for Ramsey County, Minnesota.
