<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the <br />City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minneso- <br />ta was duly held on the 13th day of June, 1994 at 5:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Goedeke, Wiski, Mastel, P. Johnson, <br />and V. JOhnson, and the followinq were absent: None. <br /> <br />Member Wiski <br />adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved its <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 9088 <br /> <br />USOLUTIOR STATD1G ~ TO <br />IIIICC JŒl'"~'R'DD1G PROPOSED BATE :IJI1CR.USE FOR 1995 <br /> <br />WHEREAS the Metropolitan Waste Control Commission (MWCC) has <br />provided excellent waste water treatment services to the City of <br />Roseville and <br /> <br />WHEREAS the service costs assessed to Cities such as Roseville <br />are exceeding the increase in the cost of living, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has tried to maintain its costs to its citizens <br />at or under the cost of living increases and reflect such costs <br />in the property taxes and utility rates, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the projected MWCC rate increase in 1995, which is esti- <br />mated to be 7.5% overall and 10.8% for the City of Roseville, do <br />not permit the City to keep its rates to the citizens at or below <br />the rate of inflation. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City <br />of Roseville, Minnesota, that the Metropolitan Waste Control <br />Commission make a strong effort to manage its costs to the extent <br />that its wholesale sewer rates increases are at or below the <br />increase in the Consumer Price Index (inflation). <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by memberP. Johnson and upon a vote being taken thereon, <br />the following voted in favor thereof: Goedeke, Wiski, Mastel, P. <br />Johnson, and V. Johnson, <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: None. <br /> <br />WHEREUPON, said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
