EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minneso- ta was duly held on the 13th day of June, 1994 at 5:30 p.m. The following members were present: Goedeke, Wiski, Mastel, P. Johnson, and V. JOhnson, and the followinq were absent: None. Member Wiski adoption: introduced the following resolution and moved its RESOLUTION 9088 USOLUTIOR STATD1G ~ TO IIIICC JŒl'"~'R'DD1G PROPOSED BATE :IJI1CR.USE FOR 1995 WHEREAS the Metropolitan Waste Control Commission (MWCC) has provided excellent waste water treatment services to the City of Roseville and WHEREAS the service costs assessed to Cities such as Roseville are exceeding the increase in the cost of living, and WHEREAS, the City has tried to maintain its costs to its citizens at or under the cost of living increases and reflect such costs in the property taxes and utility rates, and WHEREAS, the projected MWCC rate increase in 1995, which is esti- mated to be 7.5% overall and 10.8% for the City of Roseville, do not permit the City to keep its rates to the citizens at or below the rate of inflation. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, that the Metropolitan Waste Control Commission make a strong effort to manage its costs to the extent that its wholesale sewer rates increases are at or below the increase in the Consumer Price Index (inflation). The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by memberP. Johnson and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Goedeke, Wiski, Mastel, P. Johnson, and V. Johnson, and the following voted against the same: None. WHEREUPON, said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
