<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF THE VILLAGE COONCIL OF <br />ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA ~_ HELD JULY 10, 1972 <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of <br />the Village Council of the Village of Roseville, Minnesota, was <br />held at the Village Hall, 2701 North Lexington Avenue, Roseville, <br />Minnesota, on the 10th day of July, 1972. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mayor Linebarger, <br />Councilmen Anderson, Curley and Grauel <br /> <br />and the following was absent: Councilman Brennan <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 5860 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING WORKING CONDITIONS BETWEEN TIffi <br />VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE AND LOCAL 149 LD. T. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been a negotiated settlement between the <br />Village of Roseville and certain employees of the Village who are <br />members of Local 149 I.D.T.; <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS, it is desirous that the working conditions con- <br />o.:tained within the agreed upon settlement be aodpted as a resolution <br />within the agreed upon settlement be adopted as a resolution of the <br />Village Council; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the <br />Village of Roseville, Minnesota, that the following "WOrking conditions <br />which are contained in the 1972 settlement between the Village of <br />Rosevil1e and Local 149 I.D.T. are adopted: <br /> <br />1. The settlement shall be retroactive to January 1, 1972. <br />After 1 After 2 After 3 After 4 <br />2. The uniform allowance shall be $160 yearly per officer. <br />4. The Police Officers shall be granted 10 paid holidays per year <br />in recognition that Easter always falls on Sunday. <br />5. Police Officers hired after July 10, 1972, shall not be eligible <br />for longevity payment schedule enforced for officers hired prior <br />to July 10, 1972. <br />6. Police Officers hired after January 1, 1971 and July 10, 1972 <br />after obtaining five years service shall choose between receiving <br />the longevity payment program or the college incentive payment <br />program for the minimum 90 college credit hours they were required <br />to have prior to their appointment as members of the Rosevil1e <br />Police Department. <br />
