<br />is directed to publish and mail notice that the Council will meet <br />to consider the proposed assessment on September 5, 1972, in the <br />Village Hall, 2701 N. Lexington Ave., in said village. <br /> <br />The notice shall state the date, time and place of the <br />meeting, the general nature of said improvement, the area <br />proposed to be assessed, that the proposed assessment roll <br />is on file with the Village Manager, and that written or <br />oral objections thereto by any property owner will be considered. <br />It shall be published in the official newspaper of the village <br />at least once, and shall be mailed to the owner of each parcel <br />described in the assessment roll, not less than two weeks <br />prior to the date of said meeting. For the purpose of such <br />mailed notice, owners of said parcels shall be those showh. <br />as such on the records of the county Treasurer. Every property <br />owner whose name does not appear on such records (other than owners <br />of property which is tax exempt or is taxed on a gross earnings <br />basis) shall be deemed to have waived such mailed notice unless <br />he has requested in writing that the County Treasurer include <br />his name on the records for this purpose. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution <br /> <br />was duly seconded by Councilman <br /> <br />Anderson <br /> <br />, and upon vote being <br /> <br />taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />All present <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
