EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF CITY COUNCIL CITY OF ROSEVILLE RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA Pursuant to due call and notice thereof. a regular meeting of the City Council of the City ofRoseville, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall on Monday, the eleventh day of July, 1994, at 5:30 o'clock p.m. The following members were present: Mastel, Goedeke, Wi ski, P. Johnson, and V. Johnson and the following were absent: None. Councilmember P. Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 9092 RESOLUTION APPROVING PROJECT, APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR CITY PROJECT ST-94-09 WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on March 28, 1994, to consider the construction of a regional storm sewer pond for the Twin Lakes redevelopment area, City Project ST-94-09; and WHEREAS, required mailed and published notices were given; and WHEREAS, the public hearing was continued to April 11, 1994, and continued again to May 23, 1994, and continued again to June 27, 1994, and continued again to July 11, 1994; and WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution passed by the City Council, the city's consulting engineer, OSM, has prepared plans and specifications for City Project ST-94-09 and has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval: THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City ofRoseville, Minnesota: 1. City Project ST -94-09, a regional storm sewer pond for the Twin Lakes redevelopment area, is hereby approved. 1. Such plans and specifications, copies of which are attached hereto, and made a part hereof. are hereby approved. 2. The City Manager shall prepare the cause to be inserted in the Roseville Review, the official newspaper, and in the Construction Bulletin, an advertisement for bids upon the making of such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement for bids for City Project ST -94-09 shall be combined with City Project P-SS-W-ST-94-06, Arthur Street extension project north of County Road C. The advertisement for bids shall be published as required by law, shall specify the work to be done, shall call the bids on the basis of cash payment for such work, shall state that the bids will be received by the City Manager and Director of Public Works on August 2, 1994, at which time they will be publicly opened in the City Hall by the City Manager and subsequently be considered by the City Council; and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the Manager and accompanied by a cash deposit, certified check, or bid bond payable to the Manager for ten percent of the amount of such bid.
