Extract of Minutes of Meeting of the Village Council of Rosevi11e, Minnesota - Held December 11, 1972 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Roseville, Minnesota, was held in the Village Hall in said Village on Monday, December 11, 1972, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. The following members were present: Mayor Linebarger, Councilmen Grauel, Anderson, Brennan and Curley and the following were absent: None. Councilman Anderson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 5905 t~REAS, Section 102(d) of Title 23, United States Code, provides for the establishment of the Federal Aid Urban System; and WHEREAS, the additions and changes to such system shall be a cooperative effort of the appropriate local officials and State Highway Department; and WHEREAS, the appropriate representatives of the local and State transportation offices have jointly agreed upon the merits of transferring a portion of a Federal Aid Primary System route to the new Federal Aid Urban System. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Village of Roseville recommend the Commissioner of Highways request that the Federal Highway Administrator approve the Federal Aid System routing modi- fication within the boundaries of the Village of Roseville, as hereinafter described: Trunk Highway 8 betweBIl the East Junction of Tnmk Highway 36 (Broadway Street) in Minneapolis to the Junction with Tnmk Highway 35 W in New Brighton. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Brennan, and upon roll call vote being taken thel'eon, the following voted in favor thereof: All present and the following voted against: None. WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
