<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF <br />ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, HELD Dp.cP.I1lnp.r ll~ ,1972. <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of <br />the Village Council of the Village of Roseville, Minne sota, was duly called <br />and held at the Village Hall in said Village on December 11, 1972 at <br />~:130 p. m. The following members were present: <br />Mayor Linebarger, Councilmen Grauel, Curley, Brennan and <br />Anderson <br /> <br />and the follOWing members were absent: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Member Brennan <br />and moved its adoption. <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 5909 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Ramsey County is presently preparing a contract between <br />the County of Ramsey and Minnesota Blue Cross, Minnesota Indemnity, <br />Inc., and Minnesota Mutual Life Insurance Company, by the terms of which <br />benefits will be made available to employees of Ramsey County for hospital <br />expenses, medical expenses and life insurance. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Village of Roseville, State of Minnesota, intends <br />and desires that Ramsey County in preparing a contract with the above three <br />firms include all of the employees of the Village of Roseville, and it is the <br />intention of the Village of Roseville and the County of Ramsey that the <br />Village of Roseville will pay the premiums required for such benefits as <br />subsequently agreed upon. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention of this resolution to appoint Ramsey <br />County as the agent for the Village of Roseville in preparing the contract <br />for the village employees with the three above firms. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the Village Council of the <br />Village of Roseville now hereby appoints the Board of County Commissioners <br />of Ramsey County with the authority to negotiate with and enter into con- <br />tracts with the following firms: Minnesota Blue Cross, Minnesota Indemnity, <br />Inc., and Minnesota Mutual Life Insurance Company, the terms of the contracts <br />to extend to the employees of the Village of Roseville benefits for hospital <br />and medical, as well as life insurance. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly <br />seconded by Member Anderson , and upon a vote being taken, the <br />follOWing voted in favor of the Resolution: All present <br />
