EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE , MINNESOTA - HELD Hanuary 29, 1973 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Rosevi11e, Mip~esota, was held in the Village Hall on Monday, January 29, 1973, at 7:30 P.M. The following members were present: ~1ayor Linebarger, CDuncilmen Anderson, Brennan, Curley and Grauel and the following were absent: None Member Anderson and moved its adoption: introduced the following resolution RESOLUTION NO. 5918 WHEREA.S, pursuant to the provisions of the Laws of the State of Minnesota, the Village Council is required to adopt a budget and establish employee compensation for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 1973 and ending December 31, 1973; AND WHEREAS, the Village Council of the Village of Rosevi11e is interested in providing adequate fire protection to its residents and property; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL of the Village of Roseville, Minnesota, that authorization is granted for one additional position of night sleeper in Fire Station No.2, that the salaries for dispatchers be increased by $600, that the rate of pay for night sleepers be increased to $10 for week nights and $20 for Sundays and holidays; AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVFD that the total cost of these authorized increases is $11, 830, and that a transfer of that amount from the Contingency Fund to the General Fund for the Fire Department is hereby authorized. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Brennan and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: All present and the following voted against same: None WHEREUPON, said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
