<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF <br />ROSEVILLE HELD SEPTEMBER 5, 1962 <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />~ ~ ~ <br />A 4_ 4~ <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special <br />meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Roseville, <br />Minnesota, was duly called and held at the Village Hall in <br />said Village on September 5, 1962 at 8:00 p.m. The <br />following members were present: <br /> <br />Mayor McGee, Trustees Goodrich, Flanagan, and Kustermann <br /> <br />and the following members were absent: None <br /> <br />Member Flanagan introduced the <br />following resolution and moved its adoption. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 597 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION TO PURCfffiSE THE PLANT AND WATER WORKS <br />SYSTEM OF THE MINNESOTA WATER COMPANY, INC., LYING WITHIN <br />THE VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 15 OF <br />ORDINANCE NO. 296. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Village of Roseville has granted a <br />franchise to the Minnesota Water Company, Inc., to distribute <br />water in certain areas within the Village of Roseville; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, by the terms of said franchise the Village <br />of Roseville can acquire the entire plant and operation of <br />the Minnesota Water Company, Inc., lying within the confines <br />of the Village of Roseville by paying to the Minnesota Water <br />Company a price either agreed upon by the respective parties <br />or arrived at by arbitration; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Village Council passed a resolution on <br />August 27, 1962, ordering the improvement of Water Improvement <br />Project No. 62-1; and <br />
