PAT MILLER, 1810 Oakcrest: Lives on the corner of <br />Oakcrest and Fairview. Opposed to the improvement because of <br />the truck traffic and the speed of the traffic. <br /> <br />MRS. PAT MC SHERRY, 2865 North Fairview (Spoke before): <br />Asked if there would be a service lane to enable people living <br />on Fairview to get in and out of their driveways. Said she's <br />concerned for the safety of her children because of the heavy <br />truck traffic. Opposed to the improvement. <br /> <br />MR. JOHN LESTER, 1935 North Hamline (Spoke before): Asked <br />if there would be curb cuts into all of the lots and houses <br />on Fairview. <br /> <br />MR. RUSSELL PETERSON, 2544 North Fairview: Asked if there <br />would be traffic signals on the corner of oakcrest and Fairview. <br /> <br />MR. JOHN WONDRA, 2600 North Fairview: Because there's no <br />place to park on the street, he has a double driveway into his <br />property. Asked if the curb cut would be that wide. <br /> <br />MR. ED SA LVERDA, Ramsey County Commissioner: While this ~s <br />a county project, it can't be constructed unless the village <br />approves it. <br /> <br />MR. THOMAS WILLMUS, 3040 North Hamline (Spoke before): The <br />widening of the street will reduce the safety hazard that now <br />exists. The street is old and needs up-grading. <br /> <br />MRS. PAT MILLER, 1810 Oakcrest (Spoke before): The trucking <br />industry wants the construction of the new road. The road will <br />continue to be a 9 ton limit but there are trucks traveling on <br />it heavier than that and no one does anything about it. Asked <br />what kind of access the people on Fairview would have while the <br />new road is being constructed. Also asked how the new grade of <br />the road would affect their driveway. <br /> <br />MRS. DARLENE MC DONAUGH, 2480 North Fairview: Asked what <br />percent of the people it would take to vote the improvement d0\~n. <br />When informed there would be no public referendum but thnt i.'.: <br />
